Event description:
Morning Session:
The PATINS Project will provide information regarding the use of assistive technology in the classroom to ensure all students can access, participate, and progress within their general curriculum. Information about PATINS services also will be provided.
Afternoon Sessions:
A presentation by NASP will be presented regarding school psychologists as the behavior and mental health specialist in the schools. Focus will include helping school stakeholders to recognize the importance of involving school psychologists in supporting students’ mental and behavioral health.
Eskenazi Health will provide information regarding mindfulness practices, benefits, and strategies for school psychologists to alleviate stress and symptoms related to compassion fatigue.
