Morning Session

Presentation on the initiative from NASP to empower School Psychologists in supporting student mental and behavioral health. Information from NASP will be shared regarding how school psychologists are uniquely qualified to develop comprehensive support systems, provide direct and indirect services, and expand access. Current public policy presents significant opportunities for school psychologists to do what we do best……improve outcomes for students. Come learn how to get through the barriers and help school stakeholders recognize the asset of involving their school psychologists in mental health needs.

Discussion and collaboration will follow about how we as school psychologists, can effectively collaborate with our local mental health agencies and take on a purposeful role with supporting mental health services for our students.
